TRENTON DAM
The PDI crew worked on barges that were 30m x 12m with two 6m “fingers” to sit between piers with 2-3 excavators. This was accompanied by 6m x 12m scow barge to transport rubble from site to laydown area. Rubble at laydown area was further processed to be sent offsite. The Trent Dam was a 132m long 14 slice dam on the Trent River. The dam was entirely made up of concrete. The goal of the project was to remove the existing dam once the downstream fam was constructed.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
“The Terminal 1 job was the project that was a turning point for us in being able to bid larger projects without being afraid of actually doing them.”
