PDI operates one of the largest demolition fleets in the country and we are constantly expanding. With over 250+ pieces of heavy equipment, we are equipped to handle any project, from high traffic demolition to high-rise dismantling and everything in between.
Regardless of project scale, we provide premium equipment to handle your project’s unique requirements. Our fleet includes 13 highreach excavators including the biggest and heaviest excavator in Canada, and the only one of its kind in North America, the Kobelco 1600D, with a reach of approximately 170″.
With the sheer power of our fleet, PDI is capable of dismantling all types of structures. We have the ability to tailor equipment specific to your project needs. Our state-of-the-art equipment is fitted with buckets, shears, grapples, processors, hammers and other attachments. We have multiple machine sizes, attachment configuration options, and we utilize the OilQuick system to minimize downtime.
We utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to model buildings and equipment to scale (before developing our demolition plan), in conjunction with Structural Analysis and Designing Program software. By using the power of this software (and scanning equipment), we have the tools and the expertise to convert any existing structure into an engineering model for analysis, calculation, and 3D structural drawings.
