This project included planning and demolition of the Strathcona Lime Plant. Work involved abatement, building demolition, equipment removals, process line demolition, and Lime Bin Silo.
The project was completed over an eight‑week period from February to April 2023. The site was 1,500 sq. ft. site and was delivered on schedule despite several complex challenges. These included planning and working safely around overhead high‑voltage hydro lines, managing activities in close proximity to a watercourse, and overcoming site access and logistical constraints. Through careful coordination and proactive planning, these challenges were addressed efficiently, allowing the project to progress smoothly and meet its scheduled completion.
