TANSLEY BRIDGE

The 700ft Tansley Bridge was no small feat, with 3-truss girders, 4 spans at 48ft wide it carried two lanes of traffic and a sidewalk. The two outer spans (from abutment to pier) were 150ft long, the two center spans 200ft long. The highest point from the top of the roadway to the ground below was 105ft. Two excavators, one high reach, (3) elevated working platforms and (3) cranes were used to complete this project.

We used large pieces of concrete from the bridge to help stabilize the bank after demolition, and recycled or crushed 100% of the remaining material.
